ABOUTME
Kirstie Pervin Davies, aka Jazzy
' Do Your Thing'

I’ve lived in South Wales all my life, and from an early age, I’ve been captivated by making and creating. My journey began in comprehensive school, studying Design & Technology, where I first discovered woodworking. Since then, my path has led me through a variety of experiences — working in an Arts Theatre, exploring performance and visual expression, and studying engineering through an apprenticeship. Yet, no matter where life took me, I was always drawn back to creating my own work: designing pieces and artworks that reflect imagination, care, and stories worth sharing.

Art and craft are inseparable in my practice. I create expressive artworks that explore form, texture, and emotion, alongside handcrafted wooden pieces designed with longevity and attention to detail. Each creation — whether a painting, a mixed-media piece, or a bespoke wooden object — carries its own story, meant to be cherished and passed down through generations. My passion lies in bringing unique ideas to life, experimenting with materials, and making pieces that are both beautiful and meaningful.
Much of my woodworking knowledge is self-taught. With few local opportunities to study fine furniture making, I’ve learned through reading, online research, magazines, and tutorials, while also drawing on skills gained from my engineering background. This blend of formal and self-directed learning has given me the tools to turn ideas into tangible, carefully crafted works.

Sharing my journey is as important to me as making itself. I document my work on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitch livestreams, showcasing both my art and design projects in real time. Through these platforms, I hope to inspire others to explore their creativity, try making, or embrace entrepreneurship in their own way. My message is simple: be different. Do Your Thing.

Alongside KPD, I run a side venture called Zany, where my artwork comes to life as graphics on clothing. Zany allows me to combine my love of colour, design, and illustration with wearable pieces, bringing my art to new audiences and extending my creative vision beyond the studio. It’s a space to experiment, have fun, and share creativity in a tangible, accessible way. To keep pushing the boundaries of my creativity. Click here for ZANY

And while creating, I’m committed to giving back. Every purchase from KPD contributes to a greener future — Buy One, Plant One — planting at least one tree with every sale.
